Cody's Complete Junk Removal uses load-based pricing. There is a $125 minimum charge on every job, and it applies even if you only have one item. From there, prices are set by how much space your items take up — $250 for a full truck bed, up to $1,100 for a full trailer plus full truck bed. A short list of items carries an additional disposal fee added on top of the load price — mattresses, TVs, paint, tires, and fluorescent bulbs — and every one of those fees is published on our pricing page. We provide one firm, all-in quote before we begin any work. No fuel surcharges, no labor fees, no surprise charges at the end.

Are there additional fees for mattresses, TVs, or paint?

Yes, and we list all of them openly. Certain items cost us extra at the disposal facility, so they carry an additional fee that is added on top of your load price: spring mattresses and box springs (+$50), foam or memory foam mattresses (+$125), TVs and monitors (+$50 each), paint and chemicals (+$5 for a 1-gallon container, +$12 for 5-gallon), tires (+$15 to $50 each), fluorescent bulbs and tubes (+$2.50 each), and printer ink cartridges (+$3.50 each). Important: these are added to the load price, not charged in place of it. A single spring mattress pickup is the $125 minimum charge plus the $50 mattress fee, for $175 total. We always tell you the complete number before we schedule.

What items do you NOT accept?

We accept the vast majority of household and commercial junk. However, we cannot take hazardous waste like asbestos, raw chemicals, biological waste, or large quantities of flammable materials, and we can't remove cars. Individual paint cans, fluorescent bulbs, printer cartridges, tires, mattresses, and TVs are all accepted, but each carries an additional fee on top of your load price — see our pricing page for the full list. When in doubt, just call us — we'll let you know immediately if there's anything we can't handle.

Do you donate or recycle the items you collect?

Absolutely. We're committed to keeping as much as possible out of landfills. Usable furniture and household items are donated to local charities and organizations in the Greater Lowell area. Electronics are taken to certified e-waste recyclers. Metals are taken to scrap facilities, and yard waste goes to composting centers. We make every effort to recycle or donate before disposing.

Do I need to be home during the junk removal?

You don't necessarily have to be present during the actual removal, but we do need someone available to confirm the items and approve the final quote before we begin work. Many customers simply show us the items, get a quote, and can step away once work starts. We'll call you when we're finished and you can pay at your convenience.
